Our annual National Juried Art Show at the Cultural Arts Center of Douglasville/Douglas County is now accepting submissions. Artists 18 years and older can submit up to three artworks in any medium (except for film/video) and the chance to have his or her artwork displayed in the exhibit. The exhibit will run September 3-25 with a reception on September 3, 5-7 pm. Three judges will determine award recipients, with prizes for 1st place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, and an Honorable Mention. Douglas County Rotary Club hosts the 6×6 Tiny Fundraiser reception on July 16 from 5-7 pm. Come buy a painting on the same night of the opening reception for the Art Guild Swap exhibit. Stop in to purchase any painting for $20 and support your local Arts Council.
Come view a showcase of artwork from Carrollton’s guild that would usually be displayed a town away, while our local Guild displays their work at the Carrollton Cultural Art Center. It’s an Art Swap between guilds! Join us for the reception that will be hosted by Douglasville’s own Rotary Club on the evening of July 16th, 5-7 pm.
